She leaves the door open. This is where you strike. An 8, 7, 6, 6 in hand and a 2 is showing. 14 points. You need 7 more, it all comes down to the crib. You pull a 3, then an Ace. Already a run of three. Then comes a 10 and a 9. 15 for five, 15 for seven. You’ve done it. Ali is crying and throwing up. Just like you drew it up.

Ali “could not be glued to her seat this entire game, she was busy putting Drew in a wedgie”. Ali stole 4 points from me because I was in a work meeting and trying to be a provider and was distracted

I preemptively bought Ali a lemonade out of the goodness of her heart. That caused her to rally and barely scrape away with a victory

Ali will not return because there is no bathroom and she had to walk a mile “to tinkle”

Ali had 4 kings and was going to score first in the hand round and win. But I won in the pegging round first. She took it well

“I sat in sunshine and I drank a large coffee and not for a single moment did I think I was going to lose”. Drew got 1 single 5 that whole game

Ali bought the pastry that she owed for her last skunking. Lots of fun characters to eavesdrop on. Ali would return for the crowd

Ali wants it known that she stole 2 points from me this game. Cute coffee shop, lots of games and they had a copy of The Name of the Wind. Also Ali owed me a pastry because I SKUNKED her bad last game but she's a little brat and wouldn't buy me one

This was a brewery not a coffee shop. Ali wants it said she "had me in a chokehold". By that she means she stole 3 points from me. "I not only won, I was +14 points off the board. I flew off the board".
